Still, I was curious about the differences. Is one type better than the other?
I have a pair of both types and was wondering which to use in the new cabinets I am contemplating building.

All other things being equal, (and in many cases they are), the big frames represent an improvement, and could therefore be deemed better. It's nothing you'll hear though, just the option to front mount and better gaskets.

There is not much difference between the A & B models they are both Alnico the C model is ferrite.Which I think does sound a little different.
But how do you plan to mount them if rear mount go with the A if front mount then B, that has already been noted.
What kind of cabinet are you planning on using ?
